Balakrishna and Priyamani starrer has been titled Mitrudu. Producer Shivalenka Krishna Prasad today (Feb 19, 2009) announced that Mitrudu was chosen as it aptly suits the storyline. Directed by debutant Mahadev, a disciple of S S Rajamouli, the movie is in the last leg of production. It is slated for April second week release. Balakrishna plays a complete novel character while Priyamani appears in a sizzling role in the movie. "We are currently shooting the movie in Hyderabad and another schedule starts from March 2nd in Kumbakonam in Tamilnadu where key scenes are to be shot. By March 5th the shooting will be finished except a song. Audio will be released in the second week of March through Lahari Music label," producer informed the media. Manisharma is composing the songs.
