Chiru’s 10 lakh jobs disturb Cong

Hyderabad, March 7 (TNN): The Praja Rajyam party is promising to give 10 lakh jobs to educated youth in the State if it is voted to power.
Chief Ministerial candidate Chiranjeevi harps on this job slogan repeatedly during his current road show in Nirmal and other areas in Adilabad district. It apparently sends shivers down the spines of ruling Congress leaders in view of their Government’s failure on its previous election promise on jobs. Chiru is cornering both Congress and Telugu Desam party on various issues by coming out with promises to beat the seasoned political parties in all their ticks.
During his padayatras and election speeches in 2004, YS Rajasekhara Reddy promised to give 2 lakh jobs but he ended up providing these jobs during his five year rule, say Praja Rajyam leaders. Chiru’s gameplan is to overcome other parties on this one issue with clarity and consistency.
